Help Needed with Completion of Foundation Vents

Also, to clean up the dried mortar on bricks and smoothe dried mortar on several already installed (may have to sand down lightly a few). And clean up dried mortar on ground upon completion of job.
Will have to add mortar on top of 3 or 4 vents already installed and may have to go under the house to mortar a few vents a little better to secure in some areas.
Prior workers who did installation were to return and of course, they were a "no call, no show" ( sat all day and waited and still days later never heard from them out of courtesy) to reinstall the 1 vent that did not hold properly and did not put mortar at top area of a few other vents, did not smoothe out mortar on several vents (front of home and side vents) during installation making some vents an eye sore due to rushing through job towards the end.
I have the new qty. 1 foundation vent that needs to be installed again and I will purchase the mortar needed.
Photo is example of vent installed (not mortared at the top) and not smoothed out after applying mortar. Mortar on outside bricks too that need to be brushed off and evened out for a more professional look. I do not need vents removed and reinstalled. I just need help cleaning up what was left unfinished. Some of the notches at top were very wide applied with mortar. Would like to see if someone can color match over the notched outside top areas on outside vents too. (looks like a cream color, maybe tile mortar can be applied over it very lightly after they are evened out (some have a deep pocket at notched areas where more mortar is needed too. Vents on back of home look pretty good when installed. There are a total of 16 vents that were installed.
Prior workers also not showing up or calling either when they were to return to the home to complete. Also, punctionuality was poor several times they came out to the home (and never calling or texting to advise unless I texted or called first). I would like someone who is punctual/dependable when they say they will arrive a certain time.
It was dusk when workers left and difficult for me to see and go over each vent to examine (which I should not have had to do that anyway). All in all, job was satisfactory, but a few things left not completed to customer satisfaction.
