Bought from a professional musician who upgraded the pickups and tuners (professionally installed) that make this one stand out:
• Seymour Duncan aftermarket pickups (replaced the stock set for way better clarity, snap, and versatility — much more articulate cleans, fatter leads, and that classic Strat sparkle without the mud)
• Sperzel Trim Lock locking tuners (high-quality, drop-in upgrade — rock-solid tuning stability, fast string changes, and precise tuning feel)
Everything else is stock Fender (trem, electronics, etc.), so it retains that authentic MIM Strat vibe while punching well above its weight thanks to the smart mods. These upgrades alone typically cost $300–400 new, making this a fantastic player-grade guitar at a fraction of what a comparable modded or higher-end Strat would run.
Sounds fantastic through both clean and driven amps — great for blues, rock, indie, funk, or anything in between. No issues, no mods needed — just plug in and play.
